Would anyone know what is the rate for electric vehicles? Is it different from petrol/diesel cars?

Apologies on my part for the lateness of this reply
When you say “rate” are you referring to the cost of the electricity used in the charging of the vehicle’s battery vs. the cost of petrol or diesel? (I’m assuming so)
Yes, it is different, the cost of the charge into an EV will depend on what type of charger used and how large the battery capacity is.
If you use a standard charging lead with a 3 pin (240v socket) plugged into a normal domestic supply, the cost will vary based on the supplier however; (this is a average) expect to pay around £12-15 for a full charge, this is based on manufacturer’s recommendation of charging to 80% this figure my increase if the EV has a particularly large battery capacity
Expect the charging process to be a long one (and that would depend upon how much is already in the battery at the point of charging) however, it’s “slow”
If you charge at one of the ultra-fast chargers you could be looking at £40 - £60 per full charge and you’re paying for the speed at which the charge takes place, not necessarily the cost of electricity used.
Factor also, the availability of charging points, when those charger are serviceable and how much time it’s going to add to a journey. Although this may not immediately appear to impact on cost, in terms of business, all time costs money in one form or another.
