Civic Service - order for the procession into/out of the church for civic dignitaries

Hi, Could someone confirm the order in which the civics enter the church please? This includes potential attendances for Lord Lieutenant/High Sheriff

Hi Angelika,

Here is the order we typically use to enter church:

  1. Clergy
  2. Police & Crime Commissioner + Chief Superintendent
  3. Mayor’s & Chairs from our County (organised in alphabetical order)
  4. Leader of the opposition party
  5. Leader of the Council
  6. Local MP
  7. Deputy Mayor & Deputy Consort
  8. Duke & Duchess (if applicable)
  9. High Sheriff (with cadets)
  10. Mace Bearer
  11. Mayor, Consort & Chief Executive of Authority
  12. Mayor’s Cadets
  13. Lord Lieutenant
  14. LL Cadets
