Civic Awards for Children

I’ve been asked to look into ideas of what we can present to children who win one of our Civic Awards. For adults we get a personalised wooden plaque award to go with a certificate. We would present a certificate to the child, but I wanted to see what else we could give them as Members don’t think a plaque is suitable and want something that they would appreciate more.

Alongside a certificate, we partner with a local independent department store who for their part give vouchers for their toy store.

We give a smaller version of the lapel badge we give to our adult recipients.

We give the same as the adults - engraved bespoke medal with a framed, signed and sealed vellum (not real vellum as that’s goat’s skin!)
